Born in Poland and based in NYC since the 90's, Barbara Bialkowski splits her time between LA and New York. She has spent her professional career producing music series and live events for television.
Inspired to photograph local musicians, Barbara taught herself how to use both medium-format and digital cameras and shot at jazz gigs and rock shows. What started as a hobby grew into a deep love of capturing the natural beauty and mystery in faces, personalities, and individual moments.
Barbara works with local artists, models, and stylists to create what Peggy Sirota coined as 'elegant snapshots'. She continues to expand her portfolio and furthers her study of photography, light, and magic.
